Hola
I always believe in what Mahatma Gandhi said:
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so..
This belief is at the heart of my design philosophy—putting people first and creating with empathy.
I’m Rajesh, a strategic UX design leader with over 25 years of experience transforming complex systems into intuitive, scalable experiences. My journey has spanned enterprise platforms, financial systems, and mission-driven digital products, where I’ve worked at the intersection of user empathy, design systems, and business outcomes.
I’ve led high-impact initiatives at global organizations like the World Bank and College Board, designing for millions of users and driving accessibility, usability, and design quality at scale. Whether it’s rebuilding legacy platforms or integrating Generative AI into modern workflows, I bring structure to complexity and clarity to ambiguity.
What I Bring to the Table
- UX Strategy & Product Thinking – aligning design with long-term goals
- Enterprise-Scale Systems – crafting consistent, scalable user experiences
- Accessibility Advocacy – WCAG 2.1 and Section 508-compliant design
- Design Systems Leadership – building tools that grow with the product
- AI/ML Experience Design – creating ethical and intuitive AI interactions
Notable Highlights
- Redesigned the financial aid platform at College Board, supporting 5M+ students
- Led UX for World Bank’s enterprise data tools, used across 100+ countries
- Introduced scalable design systems for multi-product fintech environments
- Currently exploring the UX of Generative AI, transparency, and user trust
Why SuggestUX?
I created SuggestUX as a platform that reflects my core design belief:
“The best user experiences often begin with the right suggestion.”
It’s a nod to how powerful small, well-placed nudges, prompts, and design decisions can be — especially in enterprise systems, where users are navigating complex, high-stakes workflows. SuggestUX represents my approach to making those moments of guidance and clarity repeatable through systematic design thinking.
UX Clinic: A Hands-On Innovation
As part of my mission to make UX more accessible to all teams — especially product, engineering, and support — I developed the concept of a UX Clinic: a recurring, no-friction session where anyone in the organization can bring design issues or product challenges to the table.
Think of it as a “walk-in” for design support — lightweight, collaborative, and focused on solving real problems together. This approach helped foster stronger cross-functional partnerships, increased design visibility, and drove faster iteration cycles in organizations that were scaling quickly.
My Design Philosophy
“Good UX is invisible. Great UX is empowering.”
I believe UX design is about more than clean UIs — it’s about building trust, reducing cognitive load, and enabling people to take confident action. My process always starts with asking “What’s the real user problem?” — then working cross-functionally to deliver solutions that are as practical as they are elegant.
